BC Fashion Week was a feast for the fashion eye this September. Kris Krug from Static was on location at the Chinese Cultural Center snapping shots of the spring 2009 collections from the likes of Jacqueline Conoir , Nicole Bridger , and Dussault . The Generation Next finalists Red Jade , Joseph and Elizabeth, and Two of Hearts showed their ten piece collections to a packed house. Margarita Angelatos for Red Jade took home the grand prize, so we will be seeing her collection next year at a show of her own.
Right smack in the middle of the week, guests and press got a change in scenery over at Vancouver's newest club, Pop opera, to check out Vancouver's own Jason Matlo as he presented his spring 2009 Glamazon collection. Models strutted down the runway and then through the VIP crowd. Between sets guests were entertained by a Madonna lip syncing drag queen named Trixie Treat. Only Jason Matlo.
