The highlight of BC Fashion Week was definitely the designer runway shows, including this show that we photographed by Ginni Kelley. All our photo's from this show are available over at Flickr . Check out Cassie's review of the Ginni Kelley show over at Exposure Online Magazine...
"The Ginni Kelley show opened with an airy full skirt in a flower pattern with subtle sequins (below). I loved it because it looked fresh and easy to dress up or down. Throughout Ginnis' show the details got a little bit too extravagant for me, but the craftsmanship that went into the designs was truly breathtaking. I really liked her sheer cover-ups (a major theme in all this weeks shows), but I wish she would have shown them with a bikini underneath instead of a bra. My favorite one had one side dipped in blue dye and the other dipped in yellow with a little over lap in the middle (below). There were a few mini dresses that were way too short, and need to be adjusted by the model at the end of the runway. However, I really liked how Ginni touched on the big shoulder trend. Her version looked delicate, but I would have skipped the beading around the neck. There was a pair of nice fitting black pants and a nice long white skirt made from a gorgeous looking silk. In fact, all the fabrics in this show looked beautiful. "

I love the blouse in the second image. The trim work on top is tasteful but looks great!
