Judy Inc.'s flagship Toronto office opened its doors on June 1st, 1999 with the hopes and goals of standing out from other talent rep agencies. They groomed their talent roster to promote professional services from an international selection of creative individuals.
They officially expanded their presence to the West Coast by opening up their Vancouver office on August 1, 2008. With offices in both Toronto and Vancouver, a roster that represents talent in Montreal and an international presence, Judy Inc. is building momentum.
They are able to fulfill specialty talent niches in major markets such as Toronto, Vancouver, New York, LA, Paris and Asia.
It was very exciting for Static Photography to announce last year around this time of Judy Inc. planned expansion over to the West Coast. The most exciting part of this announcement was the Vancouver representation of Kris as one of two location scouts for the talent agency. Kris is able to resource his extensive network of relationships and knowledge of awesome photography locations which makes him an very valuable and insightful location scout.

Book 1: China Location Scouting Portfolio - Kris has had the opprotunity to go to China seven different times in the last two years. In familiarizing himself with the country over so many visits, Kris was able to shoot an extensive photography catalog of the Chinese culture, landscape and personality. One of his visits was during the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.
Book 2: Thailand Location Scouting Portfolio - Kris has visited Thailand twice in the last three years and has shot hundreds of pictures , both digitally and on film. The versitile and lush landscape, from the pristine white sand beaches to the wild, thriving jungle, of Thailand has provided a beautiful intrinsic backdrop for some of Kris' most vibrant images.
Book 3: Italy Location Scouting Portfolio - The classic architechture and stoic personality of Italy are just a few things that are so appealing visually about the country. Kris visited Italy back in 2005 and shot a majority of his experience on film . The rustic lines of the city with mixed in art installations creates a fairytale land of locations.
Book 4: Vancouver Location Scouting Portfolio - Having a homebase out of Vancouver Kris is very familiar with the layout this international city and has shot thousands of images within the citylimits.. From the tallest peaks of snowy mountains to the cobblestone roadways in Gastown, Vancouver has its own expansive landscape that is great for outdoor photography and high fashion editorials.
Judy Inc. represented hair/makeup artist Dana Mooney and Jenny Kanavaros and fashion wardrobe stylist Kim Cathers and Toya Tsuchiya have all had credits in some of Vancouver's fashion editorial shoots. We found them working with photographer Fiona Garden , other talented creative professionals at Nobasura and even with Kris at Static Photography .
Things are just getting rolling in Vancouver for Judy Inc. and we are very excited to be apart of that future!
