SierraOur friends at Speciaity Color Services Photo Lab  in Santa Barbara, CA are starting off the new year with their 2nd annual Photograph Your Love contest . This contest was started almost four years ago (around the birth of Facebook ) and invites photo submissions that revolve around the theme of love. A photo of Kris Krüg 's son Judah  was the used as the promo for the first ever Photograph Your Love contest back in 2005. SCS is a full service custom photography lab that aides in helping photographers using analog format, to get their photos developed. In addition to the services provided by a photo lab, SCS is also on the forefront of revitalizing the analog format of photography. They offer classes, workshops and special types of film processing such as coffee processingWhen the dust settled. YoginiLast year Specialty Color Services partnered up with Vitamin Angels , which is a Santa Barbara-based organization that provides vitamins to children in under-nourished countries and communities. SCS decided that they would donate $1 of every coffee-processed roll of film to Vitamin Angels with the connection being that Vitamin C is a necessary element in children's healthcare AND the process of developing film in coffee. They have carried their partnership with Vitamin Angels into their Photograph Your Love Contest this year. In addition to having many great sponsors and prize packages, SCS will also holding a free glicee print giveaway to their loyal fans, with any donations accepted going directly towards Vitamin Angels. Amber Case on the Magical Mystery TourJones Soda  has also joined contest sponsorship this year. The people at Jones Soda were very generous to donate to each finalist in the contest, a full case of Jones Soda printed with labels using their entry photo. The Grand Prize winner of the contest this year, in addition to the rad grand prize of a photo workshop with Jesh de Rox , will also have their winning photograph printed on bottles of Jones Soda for national distribution.
