"Kris' photographs of our daughter's wedding surpassed our expectations. In their variety, range of colour and settings, mix of formal and informal 'candid' shots of the wedding party and guests, and innovative style they captured both the substance and feel of what for us was a landmark family occasion.

"Kris Krug’s portfolio won Hans and I over immediately. Kris’ approach to our wedding photo collection showed a lot of foresight. A few days before the wedding, Kris met us at the ceremony site to approximate what the indoor lighting would be like on the wedding day. He listened carefully while we discussed the key moments that should be captured on film. Considerate of how overwhelming wedding preparations can be, Kris drew upon his own experience to fill in the details we forgot to mention. Normally, I tense up whenever I know I’m being photographed. However, at our wedding ceremony and reception, Hans and I hardly noticed Kris’ presence. We were amazed when we realized Kris had captured every poignant wedding moment! Kris has a gift for understanding people and the portraits that emerge from this insight are familiar yet stunning. His photos reveal our pre-ceremony nervousness, pensiveness and post-reception giddiness. The photos Hans and I have of that day are priceless. They bring to mind our beginning as husband and wife and fill us with affection for our family and lifelong friends."
